Summertime Fun

In the summer, Snow Summit’s Sky Chair Lunch package ski lifts visitors over the scenic mountains, taking them to the top of their mountain destination to eat lunch at the View Haus, the highest elevation restaurant in Big Bear Lake. Visitors can enjoy freshly made barbecue food, and purchase a one-way or two-way pass. A one-way pass includes a mountain biking trip down the hill or a hike down Log Chute Trail. A two-way pass takes visitors back down the ski lift.

Speaking of mountain biking, Snow Summit offers the only lift-served Bike Park for both cross country and downhill mountain bike adventures. Forget your bike? Don’t have one? No problem! Visitors can rent a bike from Downhill and Cross Country Bike Rentals, along with all the gear they need, for the entire family.

Wintertime Fun

As for winter skiing, Snow Summit provides cruising on intermediate and mainstream paths, with both day and night sessions available. For groups of fifteen or more, discounts are available on lift tickets, rentals, and lessons. A reservation is required for time on the slopes, but it is sure that visitors will not be disappointed with their selections, whether they are new to skiing and just starting out, or eager to explore the trails at a more advanced level.

A short walk from the major shopping area known as the village of Big Bear Lake, CA, Snow Summit is the pathway into the beautiful city.
