After a small hiccup in the 2012-2013 season, June Mountain reopened to the acclaim of all the local communities. As a family friendly resort located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains just southeast of Yosemite, June attracts many locals whose elementary and  high school students ski these slopes regularly. It’s a great place to spend a weekend with over 1500 acres of skiing and 35 named runs sprawling out over a 2590-foot vertical. June is also home to one of California’s only Superpipes, ensuring that this resort will always be a mecca for freestylers. No matter what your reason for visiting the hill, there are plenty of options for June Mountain lodging, from cabins on June Lake to the charming rooms at local inns and motels
